Hand pulled Rickshaws are not a common site at Kolkata now -a-days, but at some portions of the city they are still present. This is April and quite hot here. One of the Rickshaw puller taking a nap at 7:30 in the morning!

Driving through the city is never dull. It's one of the only places that I've visited where getting somewhere becomes an adventure. The combination of people, cars, two / three wheelers, trucks, carts and animals creates this chaotic (but wonderful) layer to the society. It simply buzzes with life.
Here you can see a slum development that has started building on top of itself. Its actually going vertical due to the land constraints. Just amazing to see how people adapt to the changing city - the level of improvisation is truly amazing.
Uttaranchal - Haridwar
It would be rather unrespectful to look into grandparent's bedroom when they are still in bed but their bedroom was on the street of the main road of Haridwar, sleeping there at 4°C night. You work whole your life to get your daily bread but and when you get old, you need less.
Good night Mr. Politician, sleeping tight on your money safe on Swiss Banks.

I thought it would be tough to communicate with people in Ladakh as I dint know their language, but I was surprised to see them speak Hindi fluently and almost everyone spoke the national language compared to other parts of India where it is treated as alien .

I used to see him When i go for tea near to my office. Whenever i take camera with me, he will not be there. He used to sit infront of the salon. Neatly keep a cloth and he sit over that and a good suitcase also with him.. Very old man.. I am very much love him. Very harmless and watching the road all the time. Dono what he used to take food and for shelter. Dono whether he is a relative of someone near to that place. Today got a chance to get my camera and he also there in the same place. Happily i clicked. Got a shot when he kept his hand over the mouth looks like no one should talk here..
