Life in India is an Indian based photo sharing group on Flickr looking to observe the inner walks of life in India from a cultural perspective. We believe that this is a collective effort to know, explore and collate the valuable Indian shots from dispersed platforms meaningfully. The most interesting entries,discussion threads and other activities in Life in India pool will be published in the official blog. The Bahá'í House of Worship in Delhi, India. Built in 1986. As with all other Bahá'í Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all regardless of religion, or any other distinction, as emphasized in Bahá'í texts.
Since its inauguration to public worship in December 1986, the Bahá'í House of Worship in New Delhi has, as of late 2002, attracted more than 50 million visitors, making it one of the most visited buildings in the world.
