Life in India is an Indian based photo sharing group on Flickr looking to observe the inner walks of life in India from a cultural perspective. We believe that this is a collective effort to know, explore and collate the valuable Indian shots from dispersed platforms meaningfully. The most interesting entries,discussion threads and other activities in Life in India pool will be published in the official blog. Davinder Singh was a Major in the Army and on 31 October he was riding his scooter in central delhi when he was chased by an anti-sikh mob. He managed to reach the army cantonment. From here he sent an army truck to fetch his mother, his wife and two daughters and few other sikhs seeking shelter from the murderous mob.
