The Idgah Mosque (circa 1655) is one of the two mosques Shah Jahan commissioned for his new capital of Shahjahanabad. The name of this mosque indicates that it was built especially for the annual 'Id prayers. The Idgah to the west of Paharganj measures 164 metres length and 162 meters width.
