Life in India is an Indian based photo sharing group on Flickr looking to observe the inner walks of life in India from a cultural perspective. We believe that this is a collective effort to know, explore and collate the valuable Indian shots from dispersed platforms meaningfully. The most interesting entries,discussion threads and other activities in Life in India pool will be published in the official blog. I was lucky enough to spot a few Tibetan monks who visited Sanchi the same day as I did. This is what the place must have looked like 2000 years ago when the monasteries were in good condition. Now all that is left of them is the base structure. One of the monasteries is shown here.
